New Property Utility Billing

The title company mails purchase documents to the Town of Crested Butte after your closing. This prompts the Finance Department to create a new utility account for the owners. 

Usually, the title company will send your first projected payment. This amount can vary. If you have questions about this, please reach out to your title company.  

No action is required from new owners. 

The Town will mail and email your first bill. After receiving your first bill, you can set up an account on the Town’s utility billing portal.
