Town Plans

In 2022, Crested Butte set its course with the Community Compass. It's a guide shaped by our shared values: authentic, connected, accountable, and bold. Not a perfect map, but a Compass to guide us forward together with intention. 

Since then, we've traveled five planning paths: Transportation Mobility, Historic Preservation, Climate Action, the Community Plan, and now the PROST Plan (Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails). These are not separate trails. They are woven together like the lives we live here, where housing, affordability, climate, recreation, and preservation all intersect. 

This is Compass Navigation. It's how we navigate our shared challenges proactively without losing what makes Crested Butte, Crested Butte.

Now, we are shifting from vision to action. Implementation is starting and your voice helps shape what comes next.
